Welcome to our farm! Where faith, family and farming reconnect!
Meet the farm!
The No Lack Farm is at its core a ministry where a strong faith in our Creator and Savior combined with strong family values are the foundation of everything we do on the farm. We take great pride in maintaining a thriving herd of cattle and flocks of healthy, happy hair sheep, goats and chickens. Our herd consists of ADCA/PDCA registered Dexter cattle, carefully bred for their superior genetics as some of the last dual-purpose (beef and dairy) cattle left, grazed along side a flock of hair sheep, all raised with a commitment to being grass fed, and grass finished with minimal supplementation and pharmaceutical intervention. Through rotational grazing practices and minimal medical intervention, we prioritize the well-being and natural health of our animals. What does this mean? It means we don’t unnecessarily treat our animals. We rarely have a sick animal, but when we do, we work closely with our veterinarian and treat the animal individually. Our layer chickens enjoy the freedom and protection of ranging in a spacious yet very secure fenced area abundant with shade trees and diverse vegetation, with the option to hop out and free roam if they like. Allowing them the option to express their natural behavior, how they see fit. In other words we let chickens, be chickens. Biannually, we raise pastured chickens for consumption that have a flavor that is unmatched. Whether you're interested in starting your own Dexter cattle herd, seeking a grass-fed beef cow, or wanting to establish a flock of sheep or chickens, we are here to support your agricultural journey. Reach out to us for more information on how you can cultivate your own sustainable food sources. Also, be sure to sign up for our newsletter / blog and stay tuned for updates on available livestock and remember to check back regularly for new offerings. Let's grow together in stewarding the land and savoring the bounty it provides.
